Swan 80 Launched: A New Maxi Joins the Nautor Swan Fleet

The first Swan 80 has officially been launched at the Nautor Swan shipyard in Pietarsaari, Finland, marking the arrival of a new model that expands the renowned Swan Maxi range.

Designed by Germán Frers, the Swan 80 brings together high-performance naval architecture with the versatility expected of a modern maxi yacht. Developed as the entry point to the Maxi family, the yacht is equally at home on offshore passages, competitive regattas, and extended cruising.

The hull design reflects our enduring design philosophy, featuring a fine forward entry, a powerful aft section, and twin rudders that provide excellent balance, stability, and control across a wide range of sailing conditions.

The project brings together our naval architecture with the exterior styling of Lucio Micheletti and the interior design of Misa Poggi, resulting in a yacht that balances performance, elegance, and versatility.

A defining feature of the Swan 80 is its adaptable cockpit. In racing configuration, deck furniture can be removed to create an efficient working area for the crew. For cruising, the aft cockpit transforms into an expansive beach club with direct access to the swimming platform and a spacious lazarette capable of housing a rigid inflatable tender.

At 25.55 metres (83.8 feet) in length, the Swan 80 delivers the performance, comfort, and craftsmanship that have become hallmarks of our long-standing collaboration with Nautor Swan.

THE NEW SWAN 80: WHERE THE SWAN MAXI JOURNEY BEGINS

The Swan 80 will make its public debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival before taking to the racecourse at the Rolex Swan Cup in Porto Cervo, where her sailing capabilities will be showcased for the first time.

We congratulate Nautor Swan, the owner, and everyone involved in bringing this exciting new project to life, and we look forward to seeing the Swan 80 begin her journey on the world’s oceans.
