Vela é Motore article: Il primo Swan 108

Vela e Motore Artigle, German Frers Naval Architrecture and Engineering, Swan 108.

Article published by Vela e Motore: The Swan 108 has been launched at the Nautor Swan base in Pietarsaari, Finland.

It is the first model of the new Maxi Swan era and is the result of a collaboration between Germán Frers for naval architecture, Misa Poggi for interior design, and Lucio Micheletti for exterior styling.

The hull and deck are made of carbon fiber with Sprint technology and epoxy resin. Among the notable innovations is the new aft area with a dual effect: the stern opens up along with part of the deck to provide a large beach club.
This solution allows for doubling the available space in this area and simplifying the management of tenders. The beach area does not compromise the interior volumes. The new Maxi Swan will make its debut at the Monaco Yacht Show from September 27th to 30th.

Setting Sail in Style: Nautor Swan Unveils the First Hull of Swan 108

Nautor’s Swan launched the Swan 108, the first yacht in their new Maxi Swan generation. The yacht features a full carbon hull and deck using epoxy Sprint technology, along with a dual-acting transom door that creates an expanded beach club area. The coamings on deck widen, allowing for outboard steering positions while maintaining helm protection, and an extra-large companionway provides ample interior light. The Swan 108 stays true to Nautor’s Swan philosophy, blending heritage with contemporary style. Other yachts, including the Swan 88, Swan 108 hull number two, and Swan 128, are also under construction. The debut will take place at the Monaco Yacht Show.
